Two Proud Medical Helicopter Pilots

A Traditional Guardsperson (Either Army or Air) is an individual who's well-equipped and well-trained to protect life and property, as well as preserve peace, order and public safety within their state. A Guardsperson may also be tasked at the Federal level to assist with Federal mobilizations, special missions and humanitarian or natural disaster situations. The National Guard not only provides this equipment and training, but also offers numerous career and education opportunities, medical/dental/life insurance, retirement options, travel, VA Home Loans, comaraderie, and much more.

A Traditional Guardsperson normally works 2 days per month (Drill Weekend) and one week in the summer (Annual Drill). As a Guardsperson, you will be expected to remain current in your military job duties while maintaining your civilian status.
